Adding another tasty recipe to our dinner menu is this one right here – Easy Beef Shepherds Pie Recipe In Under 30 Minutes. Another great recipe when you’re pressed for time or you just don’t feel like spending hours in the kitchen prepping and cooking.

This one here is so easy to make and one that the filling can be custom created with just about anything you love. I’ve made the filling with broccoli, cauliflower, squash, even brussels sprouts – the sky’s the limit with a Shepherds Pie. So check it out – use this one as your base recipe – and enjoy. Easy Beef Shepherds Pie
In Under 30 Minutes

Ingredients
2 pounds Potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 tbls Sour Cream 
1/2 c Cream
1 tbls dried Parsley
Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper
1 tbls extra-virgin Olive Oil
1 3/4 pounds Ground Beef 
2 Carrots, peeled and chopped
1 Onion, chopped
2 diced Garlic cloves
2 tbls Butter
2 tbls All-purpose Flour
1 c Beef Stock or Broth
2 tsp Worcestershire
1 tsp Sweet Paprika

Directions
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 12 minutes.

While the potatoes are boiling, preheat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the beef to the pan, season meat with salt and pepper, brown for 10 minutes. Add garlic, chopped carrot and onion to the meat. Cook veggies with meat 5 minutes, stirring frequently. 

In a pot over medium heat, melt the butter and then add the flour, mix together so there’s no lumps. Whisk in the broth and Worcestershire sauce and thicken the gravy for 1 minute.  Add gravy to meat and vegetables and mix well.

Drain potatoes and pour them into a bowl. Combine sour cream, butter and cream. Add the cream mixture into potatoes and mash until potatoes are almost smooth. .

Preheat broiler to high. Fill a casserole with the meat and vegetable mixture. Spoon potatoes over meat evenly. Top potatoes with paprika and broil 6 to 8 inches from the heat until potatoes are evenly browned. Top casserole dish with chopped parsley and DINNER IS SERVED
