INGREDIENT BENEFITS

Pumpkin – low in sodium, fats, cholesterol, and calories. Also a good source of fiber which slows digestion and helps keep you feeling fuller longer
Almond Milk – is rich in good fats which promote a healthy heart; also gives you a daily vitamin E serving which is great for your skin
Greek Yogurt – an excellent source of calcium, potassium, protein, zinc, and vitamins B6 and B12; also contains probiotic cultures; is lower in lactose; has twice the protein content of regular yogurts
Honey – vitamins found in honey include ascorbic acid, pantothenic acid, niacin, and riboflavin; along with minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc

Healthy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Makes 2 glasses

Ingredients
1 c Pumpkin Puree
1 c Almond Milk
1/2 c Greek Yogurt
2 tbls Honey
1-1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
3/4 tsp Ginger, ground
Pinch of Cloves
Pinch of Nutmeg
1/2 – 1 c Ice cubes
Mint leaves – garnish/optional

Instructions
Place all the ingredients, minus the ice, in your blender and blend until smooth. Add the ice and give everything a good whirl. Pour into your glass and garnish with mint leaves
