How to Break Out Of Your Slump with Psalms – Super Soul Sunday

Make a Joyful Noise to The Lord. Have you ever been in a season where you’re not fully engaged?  You’re stuck and not operating with the energy you normally have? I’m right there with you. This past year has been hard on so many of us with the separation from our family, friends, coworkers, and our church. And even tho we’re now taking baby steps to get back to “life as we know it”, so many people, me included, are still working their way out of the slump … financially, relationally, emotionally, and spiritually.

While there is no fast, easy cure all, there are some steps you can take to help Break Out of Your Slump – and it can be found in Psalms Chapter 100. Thank you Dr. Mark Jobe for your words of inspiration. You can listen to his message here “Breaking the Slump”

“Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth – let your cry ring out, and sing praises!”
Psalm 98:4

3 EASY STEPS TO BREAK OUT OF YOUR SLUMP

Step 1 – MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE TO THE LORD as this is what God loves. Whether is be singing, strumming a guitar, hitting a drum, a shout of happiness, or dancing and singing – serve the Lord in gladness. Choose to operate in joy BEFORE joy catches up with you.

know who is God

Step 2 – KNOW WHO IS GOD. Just be still, know He is God and it is He who has made us and we are His. Say your prayers and include the loving words “You are my God and I am yours.”

Step 3 – THANK YOUR WAY INTO HIS PRESENCE. Give thanks to the Lord always. But also include others – your spouse, your family, your friends, the store cashier, the restaurant server. Make it your goal to not complain and just be thankful. Because think about it – being an unthankful person just makes you a miserable person.

I hope these 3 steps help.  Try them and see if they  help you break out of your slump.  For more Sunday Blessings like these, please visit my Super Soul Sunday page.  Blessed Sunday to you all – Peace
