The winter months can lead to dry and irritated skin. Remedy this by using the DIY serum below and put the moisture back into your skin. Warm steam your face first to open your pores, then apply the serum to re-nourish your skin.
Ingredient
- 6 to 8 cups hot water
- 1/2 c dried chamomile leaves or 4 chamomile tea bags
- 1 oz jojoba or argan oil
- 5 to 7 drops Roman chamomile essential oil
Directions
First fill a bowl with the hot water and chamomile. Drape a towel over your head and lean your face over the bowl. Let the steam open your pores for 5 to 10 minutes. Pat dry your skin. Mix the jojoba and chamomile oils in a small bowl, and then smooth a few drops of the serum onto your skin. Put the remaining serum in a lidded glass jar, and store in a cool, dark place. It will keep up to six months.
