Creamy Carrot Smoothie for Constipation and Bloating. Juiced carrots and juiced apples are a really healthy beverage – they’re great for your eyes, skin, heart, immunity system, and liver. But how boring are just carrots and apples?

So here’s what I did. After a few trials and errors of mixing a little bit of this and a little bit of that, I came up with this delicious Creamy Carrot Smoothie. A smoothie that is not only healthy – but one that is super helpful when you’re having constipation and bloating issues. Intrigued? See the recipe below.

Creamy Carrot Smoothie for Constipation and Bloating

Are you one of the 17% of the population suffering from constipation? If you are, try this Creamy Carrot Smoothie as it contains FIBER, SORBITOL, AND WATER – all of which can help relieve constipation and can help to get you regular.

This Creamy Carrot Smoothie was created specifically for constipation issues and has all the necessary ingredients that can help you get things moving along.

FIBER helps with regular bowel function:
SOLUBLE FIBER – which absorbs water and makes stools softer, and
INSOLUBLE FIBER – which does not absorb water but helps move waste material through the bowels.
SORBITOL – a sugar alcohol that brings water into the large intestine, helps make loose stools making it easier to move through the digestive tract.
WATER – to prevent dehydration and helps to keep food waste soft and moving easily through your digestive system.

INGREDIENT BENEFITS

Apples – are loaded with pectin fiber, which has an amphoteric action that can provide relief from both constipation and diarrhea
Banana – contain soluble fiber that absorbs water and helps stools stay soft; ripe bananas help relieve constipation

Ingredients
1 c chopped Carrots
1 Apple, chopped
1 Banana
1 Plum, chopped
1 c Coconut Milk
1 tsp Coconut Oil – preferable MCT oil
1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon
6 Mint leaves
Ice/optional

Instructions
If you don’t have access to a high-power blender, steam the carrots first for no longer than 4 minutes. Let them cool. Then add them to a blender along with the other ingredients and blend thoroughly. Add ice for the desired consistency
