5 Easy Steps To Making An Exercise Plan.  When it comes to working out, it is crucial to get that first month under your belt …  to get over that proverbial hump.  Once you do this you will be less likely to give up.

CREATE YOUR OWN WORKOUT PLAN

So how do you get motivated and stick with it?  Make An Exercise Plan With These 5 Easy Steps  that should include:

  1. Put your workout on a calendar – make it visible so it stands as a reminder for you.  If you can see it you’ll be less likely to forget it or blow it off.
  2. The time you will workout – dedicate a specific time of day and make it blend into your daily routine.  Once you start doing this on a daily basis it will become second nature to you
  3. Which exercises you will do each day – have specific workouts for specific muscles groups and alternate daily.  This is the best practice to follow to not overworking your muscles.  It also adds variety into your routine and makes it more enjoyable
  4. How long you will exercise for  – set a goal as to how long you’ll be working out for.  If you’re a beginner, then start small – 10-15 minutes a day, then work your way up to a comfortable time for you
  5. And do exercises you enjoy – nothing kills the motivation to work out more than doing exercises you hate.  So find ones that are comfortable enough for you to do but yet still targets the muscle groups that need attention.

To stay motivated make sure to do a form of physical activity daily.  Whether it be a workout routine (check out our 30 day Workout Plan For Beginners) or just going for a daily walk.  The object is to keep moving.  And once you get into a pattern you enjoy, the rest will be easy breezy.  Trust me – it took me a long time to get into a workout program that I really liked.  And now … it’s a part of my every day routine.  SO STEP ONE – MAKE A PLAN
