Energy Boosting Smoothie – Strawberry and Nori Seaweed.  What a great way to get your morning or afternoon pick-me-up with this delicious energy smoothie! All you need are these 4 powerful ingredients – Dried Nori Seaweed, Strawberries, Red Apple, and Ginger and viola – a Delicious Red Energy Smoothie.

ENERGY BOOSTING SMOOTHIE – STRAWBERRY AND NORI SEAWEED

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c dried seaweed softened in water overnight
2 c frozen strawberries
1 red sweet apple
pinch of fresh ginger
mint leaf
ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

Soften the seaweed overnight in a bit of water, enough to cover the Nori sheets. Put frozen strawberries, apple and seaweed (with soaked water) in blender and process on high. Add ginger and blend. Add ice cubes and blend to your desired slushiness. Garnish with mint.
