TLC Smoothie to Soothe a Sore Throat. Man, I know what it’s like to be sick – especially with a Sore Throat. It hurts so bad you don’t feel like eating. You’ve sucked on so many throat lozenges and they’ve ripped up the roof of your mouth – now you couldn’t eat even if you wanted to. Been there – happened to me.

That’s when I turned to the smoothies. Getting the vitamins and nutrients into my body and building my immune system was the only way to get well. Plus … the smoothies were so soothing to this sore throat – I just had to keep making more.

So that’s when I came up with this delicious beauty – the TLC SMOOTHIE. And yes, one could argue the TLC stands for tender, loving, care – because after all you are caring for your throat tenderly and lovingly. INGREDIENTS
2 Bananas, frozen
½ c Greek Yogurt
½ c Coconut Milk
½ tsp Turmeric
2 tbls Lemon juice
½ tsp ground Cloves
1 tsp MCT Oil
½ tsp Ginger
1½ tbls Honey, for a little sweetness
Ice – optional
Mint – optional

INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients in your blender, and blend until smooth. For a thicker consistency, add ice and blend again. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
